Temple Within Retreats in Joshua Tree

Upcoming Dates: September 18-21, 2026

The Seven Keys of the Living Temple Gates

Seven thresholds.

One living architecture.

An embodied initiation into the inner architecture of consciousness, guiding the body, breath, and awareness through seven foundational thresholds of coherence, perception, and lived wisdom.

A Weekend Immersive Retreat

September 18-21, 2026 in Joshua Tree, California

The Seven Keys of the Living Temple Gates is a concentrated three-day immersion designed to recalibrate the body, breath, and field of awareness through direct experience.

Across the weekend, participants move through seven foundational thresholds that shape how we relate to safety, expression, power, connection, truth, perception, and transcendence. Each Gate is engaged as a living structure within the human system – not a concept to understand with the mind, but a state of being to stabilize through the body.

Each Gate is accessed through a Key. The Keys are the points of entry: specific qualities of awareness that allow the system to unlock and engage the Gate. The thresholds are the lived crossings themselves, where a shift becomes tangible and integrated.

Through guided breath practices, somatic regulation, sound immersion, perceptual training, and structured integration, the nervous system is supported in reorganizing toward coherence. The emphasis is not on peak experience or emotional catharsis, but on sustainable internal alignment.

The spiral progression of the retreat allows each Gate to build upon the previous one, establishing stability before expansion. As coherence strengthens, clarity becomes accessible. As inner structure realigns, perception naturally widens.

This weekend is immersive, grounded, and intentional. It is designed as a passage – not into a new identity, but into a more inhabitable experience of your existing life.

    • Guided progression through all Seven Living Temple Gates

    • Breath practices to regulate and recalibrate the nervous system

    • Somatic inquiry for embodied integration

    • Immersive sound experiences

    • Perceptual awareness practices

    • Structured reflection and integration periods

    • Full retreat itinerary

    • Accommodations & meals

Participants leave not with inspiration alone, but with increased steadiness, clarity, and practical tools for continued integration.

  • This retreat is for women who:

    • Feel called to deepen their self-awareness through embodied practice rather than intellectual study

    • Are ready to explore their internal patterns with honesty and stability

    • Want nervous system coherence, not spiritual bypassing

    • Are seeking clarity in their expression, authority, communication, or perception

    • Value grounded structure alongside subtle awareness

    • Desire transformation that is sustainable and integrated into real life

    It is particularly aligned for:

    • Creatives and leaders navigating expansion or transition

    • Practitioners, facilitators, and space holders who want to strengthen their own internal coherence

    • Those who feel something within them is reorganizing and want to move through it consciously

  • This retreat is not designed for:

    • Those seeking emotional catharsis as the primary goal

    • Individuals looking for passive learning or lecture-based teaching

    • Anyone currently in acute psychological crisis

    • Those unwilling to engage embodied practice and personal responsibility

The work requires presence, willingness, and openness to seeing all parts of oneself.

  • Retreats are designed in an intentional arc: moving from grounding, to opening, to integration, so that transformation unfolds in a coherent, embodied way rather than as a peak experience.

  • Every retreat is held within a carefully curated environment that feels both physically beautiful and energetically safe, allowing the nervous system to soften and the soul to remember.

  • The group dynamic is treated as a living intelligence, co-created through presence, resonance, and mutual respect, where individual healing is amplified by collective coherence.

  • With clear presence and intuitive attunement, Farnaz, Temple Architect Founder, creates a structured yet spacious container that supports safety, coherence, and embodied transformation. Her facilitation is precise and responsive, allowing each participant to move at their own pace while being held within a cohesive and intentional group field.

The Living Temple Architecture

The work is structured as a living architecture rather than a linear method.

Each phase strengthens a different aspect of the internal system – establishing stability, restoring flow, refining structure, and expanding perception in a way that is both progressive and responsive. As each layer stabilizes, the next becomes accessible, allowing the system to reorganize toward coherence without force.

The Seven Keys and their corresponding Gates are part of a proprietary framework developed within the Temple Architect body of work. They are not taught as a fixed sequence to memorize, but engaged as a dynamic architecture that adapts to the individual and the group in real time.

The full structure is not outlined in advance. It is revealed through direct experience within the retreat environment, where the conditions for depth, safety, and integration are intentionally held.

Across the three days, this architecture unfolds in a deliberate progression – moving from foundation into expression, through structure and refinement, and into expanded perception and integration.

Day One: Friday, September 18

Descent

Arrival begins with a shift out of external pace and into the body.

Participants arrive between 5-6 pm, allowing time to settle into the space and transition from travel into presence.

The evening opens with a land-based ritual, inviting connection to the environment and establishing a felt sense of place as part of the work.

This is followed by an opening circle, where the group comes into shared presence and coherence, setting the tone for the container.

Through gentle breath, somatic awareness, and sound, the nervous system begins to settle. The focus is on creating internal safety and steadiness –laying the foundation for deeper work.

A communal dinner closes the evening, offering space to arrive, connect, and begin forming the group field.

Day Two: Saturday, September 19

Initiation

The day begins with a guided morning practice integrating movement, breath, and meditation to bring the body into clarity and coherence.

From this foundation, participants enter the core experiential work of the Keys and Gates. Through guided processes, participants engage themes of expression, power, relational awareness, and truth—working directly through the body and nervous system rather than through analysis.

The afternoon opens into sacred solo time, an intentionally unstructured period for reflection, integration, and personal insight to emerge without external input.

The day closes with an immersive sound experience, followed by a communal dinner, where reflections from the day can be shared in a grounded and natural way.

Day Three: Sunday, September 20

Emergence

The morning continues the progression through the remaining Gates, allowing the full architecture of the work to come into form.

As coherence stabilizes, perception naturally expands. Participants are guided into more subtle layers of awareness where clarity, intuition, and embodied insight become more accessible.

In the afternoon, the group visits the Integratron, engaging sound and resonance within a unique acoustic environment that complements the work of the weekend.

There is also optional time for sightseeing or a guided hike in Joshua Tree National Park, allowing participants to engage the surrounding landscape in a more spacious and integrative way.

The retreat formally closes with a closing circle, bringing the group together to integrate and complete the shared experience with clarity and intention.

The immersive concludes this afternoon. Participants may depart at this time or remain for an optional final evening.

Day Four: Monday, September 21

Integration

A quiet, unstructured morning to integrate, settle, and transition back into daily life.

For those staying, departure is by 11 am.

When aligned with the Fall Equinox, this final morning reflects a natural point of balance – where what has been experienced begins to settle into form, and inner shifts can be carried forward with greater clarity and steadiness.

Notes From Previous Retreats.

  • “This immersive had a clear progression that made everything feel coherent. Each Key built on the last in a way that helped me recognize patterns in how I think, respond, and relate. It felt like being guided through different layers of myself in a way that actually made sense. Everything connected directly to how I move through my life. I left feeling more clear, steady, and integrated than I have ever before.”

    – Fall 2025 Retreat

  • "Farnaz creates just enough structure to hold the process, without over-directing it. There’s a precision to how she guides – nothing feels excessive or performative. That balance made it easy to trust the experience and stay connected to what was actually happening internally.Even the way the environment was curated felt intentional—subtle details that quietly supported the depth of the work.”

    – Fall 2025 Retreat

  • “The group container was held in a way that allowed everyone to drop in at their own pace. I became more honest, present, and less guarded without effort. It felt safe enough to go deeper into my own process while still being supported by the group. The structure of the space made it easy to trust what was happening.”

    – Fall 2025 Retreat

  • “What I appreciated most is that nothing felt abstract. Farnaz consistently tied each Key back to real-life patterns – how you make decisions, how you communicate, how you relate to people. It made the work feel immediately relevant instead of conceptual. I could see where each Key was active or missing in my life, and what it would look like to bring it into alignment.”

    – Fall 2025 Retreat

  • “I’ve taken many workshops built around concepts, but this felt entirely different. The Keys weren’t explained, they became tangible. I could feel them in my breathing, in how I was sitting, in how I responded. That’s what made it real, and why it stayed with me.”

    – Fall 2025 Retreat

  • “There’s something about moving through this work alongside other women that amplifies it. The group felt supportive without being overwhelming, and that allowed me to stay connected to my own process. Farnaz holds the space in a way that is both structured and spacious, which made it possible to go deeper without feeling pushed.”
